About Us

Classical Sheffield aims to bring together all of the classical music being made here in Sheffield and the surrounding area, as well as the people making it happen, and share it with everyone. Sheffield and its locality are home to a wealth of talented orchestras, a variety of choirs, aspiring soloists, conductors, composers and everything in between, and only here can you find it all in one place.

Our aim is to bring our amazing Music Makers and Promoters together to present classical music to more people and in more places. As a collective we’ve held three hugely successful Sheffield-wide Classical Weekend Festivals, with the last one in March 2019 reaching over 10,000 people, introducing classical music to thousands of new audience members.
