The Sheffield Guild of Strings was formed in April 2017. As professional musicians, our ambition is to perform the vast repertoire of beautiful and exciting string music to audiences across the North of England. For more information, please email firstname.lastname@example.org or visit www.facebook.com/guildofstrings.
The Sheffield Guild of Strings are holding a family friendly concert on Sunday 29th October 2017 at 4pm at Yellow Arch Studios, 30-36 Burton Rd, Sheffield S3 8BX.
Presented by Polly Ives and featuring music by Edward Elgar, Gustav Holst, Benjamin Britten and Edvarg Grieg, the concert will take the audience on a journey through the English countryside to the rhythmic dances of Norway. This accessible-for-all performance will feature choreography, visual displays and sensory activities for the children and the young at heart to be involved with, or if you prefer simply sit back and enjoy the beautiful music.
Tickets for the concert are available by emailing email@example.com or by visiting www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/sheffield-guild-of-strings-family-concert-tickets-36483720791. They are priced at £6 for adults and £3 for children. All proceeds will go to Jessie’s Fund, a charity based in York which helps children with additional and complex needs or serious illness to communicate through music.
